Active listening with tapes choreography 

Listening to music actively making gestures, percussion, choreography while listening, helps to understand the formal structure of a piece.

In this case, the active listening is with tapes choreography. The tapes are distributed to the students and the sheet music shows the formal structure of the piece with graphic symbols that indicate the choreographic gestures.

Tip: this activity can be carried out in the laboratory by asking students to recognize the formal structure of the piece by writing it on a sheet and then on the blackboard. The formal structure of a piece is defined as those parts of a piece that are repeated and indicated with the capital letters of the alphabet.
